Attack of the Enterobacteria phage T4 / weeklyCGC #122

Yay, I made it! Work was inspired by an amazing paintings by fantastic Alexey Kashpersky and Newt Studios and their approach to illustration of microcosm on an epic and beautiful scale. So, you can see how vicious Enterobacteria phage T4 attacking a blood cell at the time when her's colleagues strive to reach their respective targets. That's how I imagined process of infection after reading about this wicked tiny dude. And this specific bacteria was chosen just because of it's awesome tripod-like look! And what can be still a part of nature and be REALLY up close if not those kinds of things, right?
